Working principle:
Measurement principle: Micro power microwave pulses are emitted from radar antennas, propagated at the speed of light in space, reflected back by the measured object, and received by the radar. The time difference between the transmission and reception of pulse signals is proportional to the distance from the radar antenna to the measured object. The propagation speed of electromagnetic wave signals in space is usually measured at the speed of light. When measuring distance, the time difference between transmitting and receiving pulses is extremely short, only on the nanosecond level. Conventional techniques are difficult to accurately measure this time. The CX-RLM series high-frequency radar level instrument adopts advanced equivalent sampling methods to accurately measure the originally nanosecond time interval, thereby achieving accurate distance measurement.
Transmit Reflect Receive: An extremely small 26GHz radar signal emitted in the form of short pulses from the antenna end of a radar level meter. Radar pulses are reflected by the sensor environment and object surface and received by the antenna in the form of radar echoes. The rotation period of radar pulses from transmission to reception is proportional to the distance, i.e. the level of the object.
Input
The antenna receives the reflected microwave pulse and transmits it to the electronic circuit. The microprocessor processes this signal to identify the echo generated by the microwave pulse on the surface of the material. The correct recognition of echo signals is completed by intelligent software, with an accuracy of up to millimeter level.
Output
By inputting the empty tank height E (=zero), full tank height F (=full range), and some application parameters, the application parameters will automatically adapt the instrument to the measurement environment, corresponding to (4-20) mA output.
